Cixi News Net – (Journalists: Zhang Jinke; Reporter: Cai Guanming) Recently, Cixi Jiufa Copper Co., Ltd. invested more than two million yuan on advanced desulphurization equipments which effectively reduce pollutant emission and recycle sources, such as zinc oxide and cupric oxide and others in melting, realizing win-win circular economy by integrating resources recycling and environmental protection. Jiufa Copper, a metal refining enterprise, focuses on production of Hpb58-3 copper wires and Hpb59-1 copper rods and other copper materials. To guarantee a synchronized development goal of production and environmental protection, it installed these advanced equipments specific to technical problems. For example, the melting raw materials carry much detrimental impurity; many pollutants accompanied with production are hard to be treated; metal oxides in soot dust emission are hard to be recycled. Thanks to these equipments, the desulfurization degree reaches above 98% and recycled by-products rate of zinc oxide and cupric oxide are over 95%. In terms of its current production scale, Jiufa can recycle metal oxides of more than 200 tons, transforming wastes into valuable sources-its circular development goal. According to relevant persons in charge of Technique Department, Jiufa Copper stresses on corporate circular development all along. Besides installing desulphurization equipments, it has adopted recycling techniques to utilize waste hydrochloric acids for waste metals, such as cupric suplhate and zinc sulfate. At the same time, it uses lime to neutralize sewage to recycle water, realizing zero release of waste water.
